Integrated Passive Devices (IPD) are used to provide ultra-thin, high performance passive components. Thin-film based processing techniques are used to deposit and pattern multi-layer structures that are configured to create the necessary solution. IPD’s can be produced as single monolithic array’s for direct flip-chip attach into 3D structures, or singulated for use as discrete elements.
